I can come up with every excuse in the world why I did not accomplish what I set out to do last year but when it comes right down to it I did not get the job done. You can’t possibly want to remain overweight, “out of shape” or whatever label you have given yourself. Can you?
At one point in the last year, I was down to about 186 pounds, but I find myself back up to over 200 again. Embarrassing to say the least and discouraging when I think about it. I am a fitness professional, how can this keep happening to me?
I asked my girlfriend today how many times in the last year has she taken "before" pictures and she easily replied... 3. Uhg!
But three failed attempts has only fueled the fire in me.
So starting today, again, I have committed to a 90 day health and
fitness regime that includes the following:
- At least one of my 20 min Still Motion Workouts per day
- At least 10,000 steps per day
- Burn at least 1000 more calories per day than I take in
- Eating food, not too much, mostly plants
- Resistance Training at least 2 times per week
- Cardio Training at least 2 times per week
- Journal about it every day
Come on along for the ride… No promises. Let’s just see if I can stay committed for the next 90 days and see what happens. There is no failure, only learning from our experience.
